SKILLS BOOTCAMP!
Are you a manager or leader working in the Thames Valley region? Or perhaps you are keen to develop your knowledge of management with the aim of gaining a new role? Would you like to enhance your leadership skills and achieve a nationally recognised qualification from ILM (Institute of Leadership & Management)?
Our Skills Bootcamps are short, focussed programmes, delivered over 16 weeks and you will be qualified in as little as five months. Courses are available at Level 3 (suitable for new and aspiring managers, as well as more experienced middle managers) and Level 5 (suitable for those with higher levels of responsibility or greater leadership experience).
SUBSIDISED LEARNING AND CERTIFICATION
Taking one of our Skills Bootcamps gives you major savings, meaning that employers with fewer than 200 staff receive a 90% subsidy and only need to pay £150 per participant. For larger employers the subsidy is 70%, making their investment just £450 per participant. If you do not have the support of an employer, you may be entitled to the training free of charge. In return you will be offered 60 Guided Learning Hours, consisting of in-person training workshops and blended coaching, action learning sets and other support. This comprehensive package of learning and development could be a great investment in your staff and/or yourself.
COURSE CONTENT
Course content includes Managing Yourself (time management, emotional intelligence, leadership communication); Understanding Leadership (management styles, situational leadership); Managing change and innovation; The manager as coach; dealing with conflict and difficult conversations; Understanding motivation and performance; Developing successful teams (the team development cycle, balancing the needs of team, individual and task); Managing projects; Developing working relationships. There will also be the opportunity to address specific individual and employer interests and priorities through coaching, action learning and training on additional topics. The delivery team will agree these priorities with you to make the programme as relevant and practical as possible.
